Abstract Sounds, in partnership with Bianchi, present the second instalment of their special collaborative series. This latest immersive minimal house/deep tech project has sought out the creative intellect of artists ChrisOdt, Máté Si, and Nerve Maze, alongside the label head himself, Staniz. Each producer has an instantly recognisable taste in sound, yet they still manage to harmoniously glide together, moulding into a grouping of tracks set to fly.

Staniz is the primary figure behind two of Italy’s most exciting musical projects to emerge over the past few years, Bianchi and Abstract Sounds. The brands support rising Italian talent, whilst stressing the importance of upholding the intrinsic value of art and music, through a preference for physical merchandising, resulting in the flourishing of musician and fan communities alike.

ASBV002 takes us on a comprehensive and fluid journey through aerial chords, scintillating keys, raw, tech-permeated beats, and enthralling, rough textures. This star line-up shows total control and confidence over each composition, letting all the individual sonic elements chosen to shine in their own right with their discerning individuality and signature tonalities. 'Tokyo producer Satoshi Fumi makes his debut on Rhythm Cult for his latest EP 'Eternal Refrain'. Satoshi's music is elegantly dance-centric, with nuanced rhythm work and beautifully layered melodies that are supported by club-ready energy and dynamics.

Every element of the tune 'Eternal Refrain'' has been developed for summer festivals & parties through its euphoric merging of numerous styles, creating something unique and unforgettable.

Stelios Vassiloudis rounds up this special release with two magnificent remixes of the title track 'Eternal Refrain'. The first gives Vassiloudis' distinctive perspective on ''Eternal Refrain'', opting for stronger beats and bouncing bass throughout. Chunky grooves and high-energy sonics kick in right away, making it a head-turning peak-time jam! With an intimate mix, the second remix takes the listener on a voyage of auditory ambience.

The new 10 inch SuperSingle 160 by O*RS takes us back on a journey through time without suffering a loss of modern or contemporary sound. With "BodyTalk" the Berlin based female producer PEREL creates a future house classic featuring no less than Abba Lang. Lang, who lives in Berlin but originally comes from Uganda, not only ads his voice to the original track but creates a delicate Hip Hop rhythm while reciting - and harmonizes perfectly with PERELs vocals and the sound of the track. "This Love", the second track featured on the limited SuperSingle is a House tune which has it all: love for detail, funky grooves and extravaganza. O*RS 10inch 160 - one record, five tracks and a perfect fusion of House and Hip Hop.
The black gold will also be available in digital form. Besides the two original tracks O*RS offers two fantastic remixes as well as a dub version of "Body Talk" as a digital bonus. The "Dubson Booty Remix" teases out the sound of the 90s and pushes "Body Talk" skillfully into 2014. Nico Bulla's interpretation is fresh and different. The lowered baseline add another dimension to the original track and so creates a unique character of sound. How could it be different, the dub version perfectly enraptures the sound of the original. It emphasizes all the Hip Hop elements in a typical dub manner and produces a first class symbiosis of House and Hip Hop. Mudita Records returns with its 52nd release, welcoming Pursang, an up-and-coming talent from Amsterdam, with his debut EP Sunny Delight, delivering two original cuts — Sunny Delight and Wandering Around — both offering distinct sonic explorations within deep house and minimal. Sunny Delight is a subtly captivating track, with lush textures, warm grooves, and hypnotic stabs. Wandering Around takes a more introspective path, with deep atmospheres that slowly unfold, creating a dreamy yet grounded house vibe. On remix duties, rising French talent Basic 96 brings his signature energy and tight groove work to Sunny Delight, adding bounce and rhythmic complexity. ZAQ (ITA) transforms Sunny Delight into a mysterious, slow-burning minimal roller, featuring soft pads, spaced-out textures, and a driving, elegant groove. A well-rounded EP perfect for deep dance floors and mindful sessions alike!

Release twenty-two on San Francisco’s Manjumasi sees Vincent Casanova return to the label for a second original EP. The Secret Tourism EP showcases what we know and love best about Vincent - absolutely irresistible grooves and luscious basslines, perfectly seasoned to taste with sonic details.

The first cut, Zyasta, is anchored by an incredibly funky bass riff that works its way into a very satisfying call-and-response with a playful bell lead. It’s an addictive hook that grabs you from the start and doesn’t let go. Next up is Secret Tourism, which pushes into a more lush territory with soft, ethereal pads and chopped up vocal snippets that evoke a feeling of exploration, as the track’s title implies. The final original on the package is Watermelon Smash, with its big round bassline setting the mood for loads of juicy melodic elements to weave through the tune.

The first remix comes from Dance Spirit, who have turned in an absolutely mesmerizing IDM re-interpretation of Zyasta. Abstract off-kilter rhythms and swirling synths melt together into a tapestry of sound. Next is a deep tech remix of Watermelon Smash from Birds ov Paradise, who morphs the track’s melodies into a minor key, adding deep and drummy layers of complex percussion.
