euer Käpt’n und seine entspannte Crew grüßen euch! Wir starten mit dem zweiten Teil der »Summer Edition 2014« in den August und eröffnen das »Oberdeck der Liebe« mit einer gar bezaubernden, quirligen und liebenswerten Frau. WILLKOMMEN zum »Mermaid loves to dance Mix«, zum »Oberdeck der Liebe« Teil1!

Wir lagen neulich nicht vor Madagaskar und ankerten auch nicht bei Sansibar, sondern suchten Entspannung in stillen Buchten und tanzten an Stränden. Wir tanzten mit Poseidon’s Töchtern und manch braver Seemann erlag deren Charme. Wir tanzten und liebten und sangen und tranken und tanzten und tanzten und … 

»Das Meer ruht still, im leichten Wiegen, der Mond scheint sanft darauf zu liegen, leicht kräuselt der Nachtwind kaum spürbar nur die glitzernde Fläche der Natur. Gründunkelnd scheint das Licht der Sterne durchbrechend die Tiefe aus weiter Ferne, so wie der Kiel, dessen schmales Gleiten den Spiegel durchtrennt - den zum Wagnis Bereiten gebunden am Baum des Schiffes tragend zum Vorstoß bereit - doch ehrfürchtig wagend, belauschend schweigsam ernst die Nacht so tollkühn und doch sorgsam bedacht.«

»Und horch! Fast wie erahnend das Lied, das jedem Seemann den Wahn beschied, voll Sehnsucht, dem Wind anvertrauter Klang so lieblich - der Nereiden Gesang. Magnetischem Ziehen mächtiges Schwellen hell und voll Wehmut über den Wellen widmen ihm sichtbar und huldvoll geneigt, ihm, der sehnsüchtig mühsam schweigt ihrer Prozession helles Leuchten. Die Töchter Poseidons halten die feuchten Portale ihm offen, dem Göttersohn wie hin zu einem entlegenen Thron.«

»Smaragden schimmernd materner Tiefe ihm ist, als ob berauscht er schliefe das nie gelöste Rätsel betrachtend und nach den Stimmen haltlos schmachtend deren Liedgut symetrieverschlungen kaum dass es scheinbar abgeklungen erneut harmonisch sich zeitlos ergibt ihm ist, als hätte er nie so geliebt. Und der Sturm ballt mit Macht die Klänge. Der verwobenen Töne gewaltge Gesänge zum Orkan geschwollen, peitschen heulend die See und er fühlt wie noch nie sein Herzensweh. Erahnt tief im Wasser ihr schönes Gesicht herauftreibend zu ihm wie schimmerndes Licht.  Sie umwirbt ihn zart mit wiegendem Tanz. Ihn rührt's wie der schillernde Silberglanz ihren Augen Schmerzen der Sehnsucht verleiht - und da bittet sie ihn, dass er sie befreit.«

Und so verführte uns die Meerjungfrau, die Kapellmeisterin Poseidons, http://soundcloud.com/frauhofmann mit ihren Klängen und zwang uns sie in unsere Crew aufzunehmen. So segeln wir nun weiter, mit weiblicher Verstärkung und dem Wissen, es mit jeder betörenden Muse und Sirene aufnehmen zu können. Und zum Beweis liefert euer Käpt’n den Mix, welcher uns betörte, auf das er eure Gehörgänge weite und euch durch den Tag und die Nacht begleite.

»In dem Mix habe ich meine Sehnsucht nach dem Meer und nach Sonnenschein & Wärme verarbeitet. Habe mir beim Zusammenstellen einen Sonnenaufgang am Meer vorgestellt und habe mich an einen Strand geträumt, an dem nichts anderes zählt als das Rauschen der Wellen und die Sonnenstrahlen. Ein entspannter Ausflug ans Meer, vielleicht nach einer durchtanzten Nacht … .«

Seasidetrip 35 - Frau Hofmann - Mermaid Loves To Dance Mix

Martin Saupe aka Ton Elite has been on GD’s podcast list for a very long time. His set for Room84 really gave us a feel of what we wanted to publish in the future. And we loved him, especially because of his ability to create sets with a consistent vibe that is intense, mysterious and sometimes very melodically dark.

TonElite is one of those artists who have a strong musical personality. And that’s why, it’s hard not to play anything that is released by him. This is because his style is far from confused.  He knows exactly what he likes and he knows how to deliver that in a complete and tight package whose individual characteristics compliment each other. And so, when you think of listening to him, you know exactly what you will get… and you will be satisfied.

In this case, those individual characteristics are his set’s track selection, mixing and ultimately the vibe. His 64th podcast for Getting Deeper is a very underground (literally. Think dark, sweaty underground rooms) and industrial set. It begins with deeper, slower sounds and eventually moves on to harder, pulsating beats that will send you to sinister trips.

We love it. We love the mysterious and classy extravagance that comes with it. It’s a witching hour of musical madness that discreetly creeps on you. If that is your appetite, and we know that these kinds of appetites are very rare, you will love this set. We really hope that you enjoy it as much as we do.
