The home of the beaming banana, Banoffee Pies Records are setting the table for dessert once more. Welcome to the seventh instalment of their compilation series - Limited. Championing their social network, label owners Ell and Sandy have once again rallied a troop of producers they'd gladly sit down for a schooner with, whipping up six refined slices. Featured on the release are cuts from Yadava, Ed Eldridge and Sameed.  Titles you may well not have heard but tunes you'll love. Spreading their arms far and wide the Banoffee blokes have previously pressed minimal tech via their Black Series and hip-hop works via the Beat Tapes Series.

Philipp Priebe’s Stólar label delivers ‘Figures Pt.3’ this October, featuring remixes of cuts from the earlier ‘Figures’ series by Japan’s Metome and Germany’s Zojs.

Philipp Priebe launched the Stólar imprint in March of 2020 and over the past few releases has perfectly set the tone for the future of the label, delivering understated and emotive deep house from himself while welcoming remixes from the likes of Kim Brown and here Metome and Zojs.

Stepping up first is the Osaka, Japan-based Metome who’s been predominantly self-releasing his intricately crafted twist on contemporary electronic music over the past decade, Priebe witnessed Metome’s live show and met with him while visiting Japan in 2013 and has since been following his music. Here we see him take on ‘Beau Rivage’, keeping the ethereal, atmospheric tension of the original while introducing his own robust percussive groove, choppy vocal stabs and airy pads.
