Helios Ridge is the first of many Simulation Thesis songs to emphasize the 7 string guitar in addition to the Chapman Stick and analog synthesizers. I've decided to release this tune early as the new release date for Phaenon is now set at January 22nd of 2022.

Track 1 from the Drifted EP! This is a track I've been progressively working on since about November of 2012, but I always had some issue with it, and it never really took off until last winter when this tune really started to take form. Originally it was a glitch hop tune at 140 BPM, but eventually took on the form of a very modern brostep tune, and though its not very much like some of my other materiel, I can say I've never been happier with any tune, and as of so far Gravity Mountain is my masterpiece. Though the EP is titled "Drifted", make no mistake that this is the main track of the EP, and the only reason the EP is not titled after it is the obscure name of the track, and the fact that "Drifted", is meant to represent the wide variety of music I produce. Gravity Mountain was a Halo 3 map I used to play on a lot, and later made variations of it in other Halo games. Its also named for the massive mountains of the Wasatch mountain range close to where I live in Salt Lake City, Utah. The song captures the spirit of the Wasatch mountains, the energetic music scene of Salt Lake City, and my quest to create the finest Dubstep and Drum n' Bass. Enjoy, and Stay Thirsty Bass Fans...
