Music For Heat Wave I

Daisy Records is a Berlin/Naarm based online record store, record label, DJ duo and event series. As well as hosting their monthly show on their Noods Radio residency, the duo pushes annual parties and compilations through their label. Their musical offerings comprise of a wide range of listening and dance music, including ambient soundscapes, 90s downtempo, trip-hop, street soul, house and dubbed out techno.

“For our Crumpler mix we’ve dipped into our balearic side and picked bits + pieces from our recent travels as well as some new arrivals stocked in our shop. An ode to riding our bikes and sitting by the sea.”


CR#029 - Daisy Records

The third offering in our mix series is a live recording of Priori and Cousin's dj set at Sustain Release 2024. Recorded on the last morning between 6am and 1pm on what was meant to be an ambient stage, it featured everything a 3 day festival closing set should. Eclectic picks, strange and emotional sounds, dubious transitions and a few feigned endings. Massive thanks to all the dancers, the Sustain staff (Aurora, Ash and everybody else who put their blood, sweat and tears into this), the music makers, the birds, the stars.

Its compilation of music i deeply enjoyed listening to recently, covering ambient, jazz, oriental, downtempo and tribal. The mix is what I think will fit Sunset gatherings with friends, working, eating, chatting... Just a background accompaniment or an ornament for a good company.
