What an unforgettable experience… playing a full 2 hours + Live Psy Trance Dj set Back 2 Back with my Bro OFORIA (Ofer Dikovsky) in kfar tavor, north of Israel in the well-known corn field aka TIRAS.
Ofer U R the best thx so much for the vibe & the friendship. doing it again after 25 years from the last time we did it together just before the unforgettable rally for trance music that we were involved organizing in kikar rabin TLV somewhere around AUG 1998 . 
Soooo whenever there is a party @ TIRAS count me in. 
A concrete conclusion, when the punch is bingo the crowd’s insanity is guaranteed… HA HA HA

This set was made specially for the friends of Old Dogs - New Tricks. A Greek radio show, dedicated to old school goa-trance. As I had to play before GAD, I made a set that was a mix between acid-goa-trance and more groovy and sometimes even highly melodic suomi! :) Mixed with CDJ1000s. My reworking of the set that I played at the ZNA Gathering on August 19, 2022, from 11 am to 130 pm. 

In the weeks and months leading up to event, I was ruminating over various tracks and ended up with about 8 hours in a shortlist for my 2.5 hour set (and I am never restricted to only the ones in the playlist but those are often the ones I feel more drawn to). As I worked on various flows in practice sessions, I was primarily aware of how I wanted to begin and end: starting with a blend of some excerpts from the three unreleased tracks that closed my 2019 Goa Guardians set (with the intention of making the intervening 3 years 'collapse'), paying homage to Olli with the first kicking track of my set and some others, and having Tiny Little Engines be the climax. 

Although I am generally as known for my access to unreleased music as I am for my meandering storylines, this set was a bit different. A lot of artists continually tell me that the released versions were chosen for a reason: because they are great; and while some unreleased edits are of course amazing, lack of availability is not the only reason to play a track. I am constantly amazed by the astounding music that we have in our genre and I wanted to craft an upbeat story for that middle-of-the-day time of my set, so it was this vibe and character that were primary in my selection ... so even if it might seem to some like something of a selection of popular classics with fewer gear changes than I often incorporate into my sets, it's still (in my opinion) 'all killer, no filler' in a sequence that tells a cohesive flow-filled story, and the crowd was certainly beyond enthusiastic in its response.

I've replaced only one of the unreleased tracks I played at the event with the issued version as I know the artists did not want the unissued mix published.

I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did playing it - it was an unforgettable experience with an incredibly enthusiastic and responsive forest dance floor!

Goa is over 20 years old in the mean time. Time to have a retrodelic look! For this I dug in my huge cd & vinyl collection and decided to make a mix for every year for the period 1994-2018 to show the "new" generation of goa people how goa-trance evolved, and never really died ;)

This ninth mix is about 2000, mixed with 2 CDJ1000s and Pioneer djm300 (no lap top mixing involved!).  In this period goa-trance was fading away... Still I think I managed to captures most styles in 1 mix... starting dreamy, going to deep, later even acidic territory, going back up to madness, more trancy stuff and a euphotic climax to end! :) Hopefully it sounds like a good story! :) The next mix will be about 2001! :) So, have a look, a listen, download it and make sure to buy the music if you like it!

got into electronic dance music in the late 80s doing the full rave experience 4.4 hardcore,techno,house,hard house,garage,nuenergy.
then i went to a future productions party (enlightenment) boom i found my scratch psycadelic trance.
as a dancer and psycadelic explora/
got very involved making free party's in the arches(Brighton) ovingdeen,warehouses, squats, ash-down forest and finally my own back yard.
had to leave went to India varshish ware i connected with the fins and started the standing wave project making party's in manarli,kesharl,shnarg,varshish,rajestarn,bombay,goa and copang gang.
thought a twist of life went to Israel in 97 and started psycotropiccarmel making hit and run party's in the forest up until 2006 (never busted)/
specialised in trance weddings(only in Israel?)
helped to release new artists like insect sun,dark soho,atain(injection,dna).
inspireing others like ultravoice,star x .
now after a 4 year break ive got new ears (432hz) to break the 440hz demon and bringing some fresh ideas to the scene to help our evolving conciousness
