I had the pleasure of doing the live sound for Groovetrain last night. What a great set of musicians and cracking fellas, great set of funky tunage. Was really excited to get home and remix the set for them. Starting to get used to loading the raw files into Studio One 2 and piecing the mix together but still an awful lot to learn. The results are pretty good I think, but they lack sheen and "space", I need to keep reading other engineers tips and advice. Onwards and upwards! Loving the opportunity to do this through!
