The Waves are a skate rock band formed in Atlanta, Georgia by long time friends and fellow musicians Javier Vindel, Chris Llenas, and, Ronald Curtis. After years of playing together in previous bands the cohesive bond needed to create and develop music was strong between them. 

But the band would not yet be complete until Stephen King, former guitarist of Blackwater Creek, joined the group. With the new addition of their old friend, The Waves became a four piece band overflowing with original music.

Blending styles and feels that span time and culture, The Waves play to better themselves and the world around them, and to spread vital a message. That message is to always "follow your heart."
