Fans of Shaking Through will remember Adam Granduciel as the curator and producer of the Purling Hiss Shaking Through episode, and as guest guitarist on the Torres Episode with Sharon Van Etten. To those of us here in the Philadelphia indie music scene, The War on Drugs have been a prime example of creative endurance. He’s stuck it out and with the enormously successful 2014 album Lost in the Dream, it’s now paying off.

The Weathervane Podcast was a pet project of former Weathervane Creative Director, Peter English from the Summer of 2014. English and record producer Brian McTear (Founder of the nonprofit Weathervane Music) speak with select independent recording artists about the things they do to improve and sustain their craft. This project included interviews with members of The War on Drugs, Hop Along, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, and others. For some of the guests, huge things have happened since these conversations were recorded.
