The Woodsmen are a 4 piece indie/folk band based in Lancater, UK and are gaining increasing momentum and recognition since their formation in September 2014. The band are currently working on their self titled EP which will be released in summer 2015 and are gearing up for a busy festival period.
Fronted by the formidable vocals of Dara Woods, with backing from bass player Rob Armitage and lead guitarist Ste Finlay, their songs have a catchy and energetic musical flow which is driven by drummer, Andrew Slater.
The band were formed when Dara and Ste, who both moved from Ireland, joined up with Bradford born Rob at University and immediately started to create a lasting song writing relationship. Lancaster native, and current Gritty Britain drummer, Andrew, was subsequently drafted in to complete the recognizable sound of the band. 
Gigs in the Lancashire/Cumbria area and the UK are filling up fast for the band, with dates and venues being promoted on their social media websites.
