And growing from who we are into who we are going to be, as we walk with the Lord and yield to His moving in our lives. God gives INSTRUCTIONS for who we should and should not be listening to, getting our guidance from, and how, when we meditate on, think on, the word of God, what we do will prosper, it will work out, it will go well. What do you feed your spirit, to strengthen and empower it so it can flourish and be used fully by God in our everyday lives? In this lesson, we’re talking about that. “With so many religions out there, so many denominations, so many churches, it gets confusing – well it was for ME, when I first started wanting to find God and have Him in my life, and I didn’t know where to start.  I did pick up a bible that my Mom had gotten for me, and I found just randomly, where Jesus said in John 14 verse 6, He said, “I am the way, the truth and the Life, "no one comes to the Father, except through Me.  So I  knew that somehow, I had to have Jesus on my side, if I was going to come to God. That’s pretty basic. Why did I want God? I couldn’t put my finger on it, but I just knew that if He was real, and I believed He was, that I needed Him in my life.  I had been raised going to a church, but they never talked about being born again, or saved, or having a personal relationship with God. It was mostly rules, and showing up and giving some money. But walking with God is not about a denomination or religion or an organization it's about a personal relationship with God. About finding that He can be known, and that’s beyond just being a part of a religiously themed organization or a denomination. But God CAN be known, and WANTS you to know Him. Here are four parts of that, simple, easy to understand so you can more easily get that walk with God that you and I need so badly."

3 Things You've Gotta Realize In Your Walk In this World (Amos 3:3)

We serve a God who is steadily working in the hearts and lives of His people. God wants you to grow, to increase. He wants you to love Him like you’ve never loved Him before, and serve Him with a pure and holy heart, with nothing hindering the Spirit of God from flowing in you and through you. We need to be careful not to be shaped by the current culture we’re in. Christianity has gotten linked to some pretty horrific things over the years. It’s attached the name of Jesus to all kinds of ugliness, all kinds of sins, accusations, hatred and divisions. So many Christians get caught up in the things of this world to the point that they miss out on what God has assigned for them to do, what He has put them on the earth for.
