The Dark Harvestator is a psychogeographic standalone noise synth from Isn’tses (Tim Drage & Lisa McKendrick). The synth is inspired by the disturbing history of Gruinard Island in Scotland and the bio-warfare experiments that took place there at the end of WW2. Opowieść o wyborach i cenie za nie płaconej, lekcja przetrwania i podręcznik żeglugi w warunkach dziejowego sztormu.

Fakty są takie: latem 1939 na pokładzie transatlantyku „Chrobry” Gombrowicz wyrusza do Argentyny. Niemal ćwierć wieku później, na pokładzie statku „Federico Costa”, wraca do Europy, ale już nie do Polski. A gdyby w wyobrażonej czasoprzestrzeni te dwa statki się spotkały – co mieliby sobie do powiedzenia „na pełnym morzu” ci dwaj? Dziwne postaci snują się po pokładzie zalewanym przez fale Historii, która podda bohaterów najważniejszemu egzaminowi dojrzałości. Ale jakie odpowiedzi są właściwe?

O SPEKTAKLU

Endora – małe miasteczko, gdzie czas się zatrzymał, a życie mija na opowiadaniu plotek. Gilbert Grape ma 24 lata i dźwiga ciężar, którego nie wybrał: opieka nad zajadającą się matką i bratem z niepełnosprawnością, praca w sklepie, romans ze starszą kobietą.
Z pozoru pogodny i obowiązkowy, w środku gotuje się od tęsknoty za czymś innym – miłością, wolnością, światem poza Endorą.
Na scenie zobaczymy opowieść o trudnych wyborach, poczuciu samotności i stagnacji.
Ale także o Ameryce – ze swoim mitem sukcesu, kolorową ikonografią i niepewnymi obietnicami. Nade wszystko jednak, będzie to historia o miłości w rodzinie. Tej, która pęta, ale jednocześnie wyzwala.
Bo wszędzie dobrze, ale w domu…
