The Young Electric is a high energy rock band from Provo, UT, Formed in 2011 by Riley Hamnett (lead vocals), Drew Hamnett (Bass guitar, back-up vocals), Mat Deason (guitar), and Natty Coleman (drums).

After completing a full national tour supporting Hawthorne Heights. The Young Electric released a full-length album called “Machines” Produced by Jim Wirt (producer of acts such as Jack's Mannequin, Fiona Apple, Letter Kills, The Rocket Summer, Something Corporate, and Incubus) on October 9th 2012.
