TZN014 - A1 - Niereich - Impact V1 Preview

Axel Karakasisis is the undisputed king of Greek techno. Renowned not only for his
amazing live 3 deck sets, he has releases dating back over the last 10 years – many of
which have been techno chart toppers. Here we find Greek Axel collaborating with The
Zone Records from Rome, akin to ancient empire’s colliding, only great things can
happen…
On this the fifteenth release from The Zone Records, Axel’s signature sound can be found
in all three originals. “Been Watching you” is a track which will be played everywhere
throughout the summer of 2011 and beyond, with its definitive bass bounce, punching
perc and superfly groove. Crazy tech rythym and pounding sounds grow into a
crescendo of sonic rapture that are bound to keep all techno heads happy. “Bite” raises
the tempo a little and gives you a glimpse inside the head of Karakasis and what the
man is capable of, with its sumptuous synth work and hardcore drum machine workouts -
“Bite” is relentless and not for the faint hearted. “Restricted Flow” is milder than the other
two tracks, and is perfect stuff for getting a dance floor going with its infectious melody
and undeniable head nodding hypnotism. This release offers a track for the start, middle
and end of your night – the shame is you won’t want the night to end.

TZN015 - A2 - Axel Karakasis - Bite

The Zone records imprint is now synonymous with the term quality techno. Once again
we find them here imparting another ballistic banging balls-out release, this time bringing
in Brit big guns the Space DJz. Three top-drawer original tracks from the UK’s outstanding
& enduring underground techno duo of Ben Long and Jamie Bissmire, alongside two
remixes from new school champions Knobs and Logotech. Something extraordinary from
the Space DJz, slowing it down some especially for the Zone Records, and showing all
they can mix it up contemporary style and differ from their usual relentless heavy techno
operandi. Supporting remixes from Knobs and Logotech ensure a remarkable calibre
release that will possibly be the best techno EP of the summer if not the year.

TZN016 - A2 - Space Djz - The Primose Path (Logotech's Innerview Rmx)

Dutch Duo Hackler & Kuch dare to deviate from the considered current constraints of
contemporary techno, creating carefully crafted club killers of colossal proportions. Here in
conjunction with Italy’s undisputed masters of underground Techno, The Zone Records, we
find them letting loose with their Duck & Cover EP.
Three sublime original tracks with three stunning remixes to match, the Duck & Cover EP will
satiate even the most demanding techno zealots. Title track “Duck & Cover” effortlessly
escalates from eerie beginnings into an enormous monster of a track, its elements maintained
and courteously remixed by Cologne’s Cortechs. Second track “NLS” is a souped-up, high
powered white knuckle rider of a tune which suspends belief with its sheer intensity,
impressively remixed by Italy’s own Logotech. “Weedhacker” wheedles its way into your
brainwaves with its wondrous percussion whilst it’s winsome vocal whacks away at your
frontal lobe synapses, ravishing remix alterations made by Austria’s A grade techno son
Niereich.

02 - The Advent - Acid Lips TZN050

The evolution of the history of music to Electro and Miami Bass response ITALIAN is the protagonist in the second release of The-Zone Records 
Side A is signed by artists, experimenting in the 80s and low 90s drum machines and synthetic, have given rise to new musical forms, still points of reference for the new generations, respectively defined Electro-Techno and Miami Bass. From the industrial city of Detroit Michigan, Aux 88 transformed the Afrikabambataa’s electro funk on techno sounds from the world originating in their city. While in Florida ("Planet of the bass") Debonaire has skill fully combined the American Rap with the imposing German electro bass power, voice and scratch, creating an explosive groove for the dancefloor. Two tracks in collaboration with their friend and one of the highest electro pioneer  made in Italy, Max Durante, who knew how to mix low rolling, electrical items and broken beats recreating setting really old school. Ketty Boccia is the featuring appear on track with Debonaire and Max  Durante, she is an important figure of the Techno-Electro Italian movement.
The B side is all signed by Max Durante. Two tracks , the expression of what has always been the bridge between the musical sound of Detroit and Rome

The tenth release of the label "The-Zone Records It could not be a celebration as it should During the 5 years of the Amazone Records, "The-Zone" called the label’s owner, one of the most active exponents of techno "last generation". Straight from France, Mr. Marco Asoleda closes 2010 with a big bomb!
The Ep is structured in two original tracks plus 2 Remix. The Original tracks "Darky" and "Tool" have the unmistakable stamp of Marco Asoleda’s music, usually heard in the production of Amazone Records. A style where deep bass and hypnotic synth create an atmosphere of darkness and underground, where the subwoofers are the masters. Perfect tracks to start a big party. While the two remixes outsource what is the basis Asoleda Music. Techno version of "Darky" where Logotech enhances the hypnotic element, the depth of the original drum, transforming it into a war machine for the subwoofers. Peja has a version of "Tool" more tech-house, very elegant, with a mix of drums, bass and synth,perfect for the dancefloor… keeping the hypnotism.

After almost a decade in which it has been “the lighthouse of radio stations” for the electronic music turned to dance scene in Rome, Italy and not only(New York on 88.3m/<a href="http://party934.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">party934.com</a> till 2010 and after <a href="http://FNOOB.COM" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">FNOOB.COM</a> Techno Channell), supporting and promoting hundreds of artists and labels, The-Zone decided to make a decisive breakthrough.&#13;
The-Zone Records was born with the same purpose of the radio programme, which aims to promote the sound of the best established and emergent artists through the realization of sheer releases, that will permit to the sound of The-Zone to get out of the radio and spread his label all over the world.&#13;
The-Zone artists have been selected through all the radio experience that The-Zone acquired during these years, also with the events where The-Zone have taken part in as organizer or as media support.&#13;
Our label was born neither for the need of a producer nor for any other commercial goal, but it comes from the wish to represent Italy abroad as an international label and also to spread the sound of the artists which sustained The-Zone till now.&#13;
With this project, The-Zone gives to every artist full freedom to promote his own sound and his personal project (label or other), from production to finalisation (EP title, cover colours, etc.) .&#13;
The-Zone Records was born already with the support ofinternational historical artists of the calibre of Aux88, TheAdvent, MaxDurante, Debonaire, Rino Cerrone, Markantonio and other artists which are establishing themselves with their quality productions like Minimalrome, Alessio Mereu, Max M, Frankyeffe, Night Orchestra, Mezmeric, Exile and others.&#13;
You can guess from these names how the world of The-Zone Records is and will be various, as it has been during these years the radio programme, always aiming to the dance scene but particularly to productions of quality and to his artists.&#13;
