On December 8, 1970, Jim Morrison walked into The Village Recorder in Los Angeles on the day he turned twenty-seven and laid down what would become his final poetry recordings. Half a century later, those words — raw, unfiltered, and buzzing with danger resurface not as dusty relics, but as fire in the hands of Australian producer Uone.

The connection runs deeper than chance. In 2018, Morrison’s nephew Sefton, inspired by Uone’s sets, handed him the original poetry recordings a gift from bloodline to turntable. The result is a wild collision of poetry, psychedelia, and pulse-driven electronic music.

A thundering deep-house roller infused with rock grit and hypnotic drive. Morrison’s voice cuts through rolling basslines and tribal percussion, carrying a message both timeless and unsettling. Uone reshapes the lost recording into a dance-floor incantation, part ritual, part rave, entirely alive.

Music has always been a voice of freedom — from the 60s & 70s counterculture to today’s underground dancefloors.
