Fisher x Flowdan - Boost up (Offparr Remix)

A Deal With God is my new collaboration with ZARD. He started the track in an ambient-electronic style, and I picked it up from the drop – in the end, our parts keep blending throughout. It’s melodic house at 123 BPM, moving between atmosphere and energy.
While testing the unfinished track in a DJ set, I tried layering it with Kate Bush’s Running Up That Hill because the key matched. It worked really well, so I added similar vocal chops directly into the track. That’s also why it’s called A Deal With God.
Live, it can be connected with the original Kate Bush song, but that’s up to a skilled DJ – getting a license for such a famous vocal isn’t possible.

A Deal With God je moja nová spolupráca so ZARD-om. On začal skladbu v ambient-electronic štýle a ja som na to nadviazal od dropu – nakoniec sa naše časti v skladbe stále prelínajú. Je to melodic house v 123 BPM, kde sa strieda atmosféra s energiou.
Keď som ešte nedokončený track skúšal v DJ sete, napadlo mi ho kvôli rovnakej tónine podložiť skladbou Kate Bush – Running Up That Hill. Fungovalo to skvele, a tak som podobné vokálne chop-y vložil aj priamo do skladby. Aj preto nesie názov A Deal With God.
Naživo sa to dá prepojiť aj priamo s Bush, ale to už je na šikovnosti DJa – licenciu na takýto známy vokál, samozrejme, vybaviť nejde.
