transcontinental sonic love affair through vibrant percussion and instinctive Kuduro
rhythms. The Bwazan member’s fierce emotion-fueled lyrics lend sweeping
gracefulness to ‘Mase Lala’ and when coddled in Angata’s vivid instrumentals, like the
bracing presence of love of which it sings for, becomes a gentle and all welcome force
to be reckoned with .

NUEVO REMIX! “A la mañanita (Angata Remix)” 🌞

Somewhere in the mountains of the sacred valley of Perru, Omer Keinan came across the amazing song of Paloma Del Cerro. Her voice found it’s way to a new edit & arrangement, that got more and more accurate a few months later with Itai Reznik in Angata’s studio where we recorded the Balafon, Percussion and mixed everything. 
We shared the version with Paloma and she loved it, and now - A La Mañanita is officially release!

Bassidi Kone (Mali), the leader of Group Bwazan and a Descendant of the Griot dynasty of the Bwa Tribe. 
and Ben Aylon, the Israeli drummer who got initiated in Senegal by the great Dudu Rose and his sons, and created his unique drum set and performance.

The track preserves the raw sound of the Sabar drums (Senegal percussion) meeting the edgy melodies of the Moog synth, melted into a 4 on the floor hardcore beat.

I first saw Angata in 2016 at the "Radio Club", Tel Aviv, and fell in love in their music. the respect and preservation of the african roots and motifs, while integrating the electronic beat, analog synths sounds, and live playing.
