Husband and wife team The Belafontes make the sound of 5 people in a 2-piece band. Their signature back and forth lyrics and harmonies define their love soaked garage rock sound. They make music that makes you happy, setting them apart from their more depressing contemporaries in Melbourne. They’ve found success on Triple J and Triple J Unearthed domestically, as well as rotation and radio play in the US, most notably on Rodney Bingenheimer’s “Rodney on the rock” Sirius XM show.
