SFS0013 is sound system music. With a root-wise stepper, young Russian based producer Genoc1de injects a sub heavy hypnosis into his riddim “Dubstation.” Reinvigorated digital dancehall synths weave between phased vocals, rolling congas and Pablo inspired melodies; a modern update to a classic sound. Significantly slowing down the tempo, the Belgian dub specialist BunZer0 maintains much of the same sonic palette. Instead he chooses to further explore the space between the sounds in a traditional dub style. Both cuts will prove to be dance floor meditations in that South Fork Sound.
