This is from the "Demonstration" EP (I know the Soundcloud album art is wrong). I'm not sure how many times we actually played this one live, but looking back, we probably shouldn't have abandoned it so soon. My friend Richard had suggested that we should have a song where the person's perspective on their relationship changes by the end of the song, and I coincidentally had just finished writing this one.

We always thought that this was the odd song out due its chorus. We weren't really sure about it, especially since the chorus gave us (okay, just Nick) difficulty with the timing. Looking back, we're glad it's the way it is. 

After The Fact

We were fortunate enough to have the fantastical Crosby Morgan on this track. Technically, this is from our "People Shooting Hat" days where Nick and Crosby actually had a few acoustic songs.  
Like most of our music, David is on fancy guitar duty and the song was mastered by Erik.

"Call Me a Camera" was from the "Maybe I'll See You Someday" EP. I'm not really sure why we stopped playing this song in our sets. The ending of the song is most likely the craziest we ever got with our music. Lyrically, I'm still rather proud of it as I'm not completely embarrassed and go into denial when I think about it.

"Smile!" was recorded a million years ago on "Until Nights are Brighter". It's one of the few I still play acoustically. Erik and I argued about putting acoustic guitar in the second verses and such, but I did it anyway.

the_deadletters were an indie rock band active from a bit before 2002-2010 or so. Here are some remnants of our time together. Thanks to everyone who came to see us and sang along at all the random places that would have us.

We are survived through "Hallway Run", which is a more folksy us with a girl singing with Nick.
