Thelem - Minds Eye

After sharing a vinyl release on Wob!Wob! earlier in the year we decided to come together to create this 3 track EP, with us each starting, working on and finishing a project. State Of Change EP covers a lot of ground, with the first two tracks clocking in at 140 bpm, Imbrute counts us down and preps us for the sonic journey. While Phantoms eases the tension a bit, the 110 bpm groove, Stygian, rounds out the EP and reveals to us the underworld.

“Delirium” is a sonic exploration of the fragmented and often surreal experiences associated with a disturbed state of mind or consciousness. Inspired by the mind’s unpredictable journey through confusion and clarity, the track layers dissonant atmospheres and haunting basslines that evoke the feeling of being lost in one’s own thoughts. It is a tapestry of sounds that weave together to create an immersive experience, pulling listeners into a world where reality and illusion blur, capturing the chaos and confusion that come within these altered mental states. 

 Gran, emerging from Philadelphia PA, is taking the dubstep scene by storm with his captivating tunes. After years of soaking up inspiration from various forms of sound system culture, he began his production journey in 2022 and has since been enthusiastically developing his sound. His tracks, a blend of experimental and flow-based dubstep, feature deep, powerful low-end frequencies that surely pack a punch. And don’t forget, his hat is as big as his heart…
