This is actually a track that I made over a year ago. Just one of those instances where you pick up your guitar and you cannot put it down until you finish writing something.

This is all about not giving up on missed opportunities. It's never too late. Even when you begin to think you missed your chance, you haven't. There's something so humbling in giving in and allowing yourself to start.

The best songs are the ones that weren't meant to be songs. And sometimes the best lyrics are just spoken plainly. This reminds me of dark apartment hallways, feeling completely alone, harsh fluorescent lights. At the same time it is an open field, warm and golden. A place you can return to only in your mind. Things change and you can't get them back.
