Octopods are one of earth’s most intriguing inhabitants. They come in many shapes and sizes, they’re skilful hunters and the ultimate masters of disguise. They can squeeze into seemingly impossible tiny spaces, instantly change colour and texture to camouflage themselves, or even mimic other creatures like aquatic shapeshifters. Octopuses’ survival is threatened by human fishing activity - overfishing means there’s less prey for them to eat, and they’re often accidentally killed in trawler nets. Medellin, 2023 — In a modest celebration of musical exploration, Art1ficial Music is pleased to introduce the release of a collaborative dubstep track titled 'Rewired.' This joint effort comes from Art1fact, the label owner, and the talented Colombian artist Brain, recognised for his recent solo release 'Square' on the same label.

Born in the lively city of Medellin, 'Rewired' is a humble sonic experiment that embraces the nuances of dubstep while delving into the world of modular synthesis. The track seeks to capture the essence of the intricate wiring and patching of a modular synthesiser, weaving together a tapestry of sound that reflects the artists' collaborative spirit.
