DJ XELA is from London in the UK. Having an education in music and experience as a musician, he has gained an expansive knowledge and an eclectic taste in music.
He was exposed to jungle and hardcore in the 90’s and when he bought his first turntables, his true love of drum and bass became apparent, purchasing vinyl and developing his skills. In the early 2000’s, Xela became a part of a network of DJ’s, MC’s, ravers and producers which involved internet forums and putting on events in the Southeast of England. This is where he first got to play out at raves and really caught the buzz. 
He has played regular shows on UK pirate radio stations, internet radio stations and in 2020, co-created a new online music community called Studio Culture, where he plays regular live shows online, sharing all sorts of music genres and helping to promote the music of upcoming producers.
Xela has a true passion for drum and bass and with 20+ years-experience to his name, he certainly knows how to DJ. He is currently working on his music production where he hopes to get some releases in the future.
