In landscape torn between the Zoomer-led drum and bass revival and the guardians of its underground roots, the enigmatic Manchester-based musician and producer Note has somehow managed to find his own lane. Since his debut in 2021, he has become recognised for an ever-evolving, soulful sound that effortlessly blends avant-garde jazz, hip-hop, and R&B into meticulously crafted drum and bass/jungle compositions.

Making his debut for Dispatch Recordings, Adred joins the fellow NYC based Dave Owen for a North American linkup of epic proportions. The “Break Away EP” brings together two producers on top form, as they deliver deeply atmospheric, spacious music, full of rugged drums, epic atmosphere and a dark brooding energy that ties the four tracks on offer together.

Dj Skynet from the then duo known as Stakka and Skynet touched down in Perth way back in August 2002. This was their first scheduled performance in Australia, and it was a surprise when only Skynet arrived. Citing an illness as the reason for not travelling, it later became apparent that the duo were no more and they would be continuing on as solo artists. 
Initially we were mortified at this news as Perth had waited so long to welcome them to our shores.
Within 10 seconds of the drop of Skynet's first tune, that was all forgotten. This was an incredible night for the tech heads.
