✦ [Vark disbanded himself from working under Nova and switched over to work under the King, Wayne D. Jack, occasionally doing favors for Antonio and his ever-growing mafia army as well.]
✦ [Nova continues to work on his plan, this plan so universal breaking, no one else could think to do it except him.]
✦ [Nova called this plan "The Divine End".]

✦ [The Divine End, in Nova's thoughts, is a good thing.]
✦ [He believes it'll put everyone at rest from their stressful lives, living among this reality in the way it behaves.]
✦ [To achieve The Divine End, Nova must create an artificial Recvn - Not just that, the utmost powerful Recvn anyone has ever seen and will ever see.]
✦ [Nova will call this Recvn 'The End Of'. Ranking it in the section of the most powerful Recvns to exist, the 'The ____ Of' section.]
✦ [To create this Recvn, Nova must drain life from viable sacrifices.]
✦ [In short, he must take life energy from Humans on Earth, in which these Humans were only discovered only a century ago, so he must be cautious.]
✦ [He is already at this last step, the sacrifices.]
✦ [In order to be safe, Nova had the idea to create artificial sacrifices.]

✦ [He calls these artificial creations his... 'Friends'.]
✦ [The scientific name for these creations according to Nova is 'The Barcodes'.]
✦ [Nova made the first group of Barcodes a few centuries prior to this time, but didn't make enough. Now, they are all dead.]
✦ [But this time, He created 42 of them, for safe measure.]
✦ [Although, he must wait.]
✦ [The Barcodes take quite a long time to form, roughly 300 years, to be exact.]
✦ [But now, in the year of 1879, he is only a century away before the first Barcodes should be ready.]

✦ [A scene begins. Nova can be seen walking down the walkway of the massive room where the barcodes are being held.]
✦ [He's talking to himself.]
✦ Nova: Twenty-Five... I think I'll name you.. Xiamonti. That's fitting isn't it?
✦ Nova: Twenty-Six... Hm.
✦ Nova: I'll get to you later.
✦ Nova: Twenty-Seven, wow.
✦ Nova: Look at you, you seem to be smaller than the others.
✦ Nova: I won't be surprised if you form a few years late.
✦ Nova: Your name, though...
✦ Nova: Hm.
✦ [Nova looks down the hall, looking at the group titled '2-22']
✦ Nova: Why did I do that... I got them wrong last time. The Divine End.. could've taken place by now.
✦ Nova: All this, for one thing I need?!
✦ Nova: One, two, three.. duh duh duh.. eighteen.. twenty-two.
✦ Nova: Thirteen bodies. I used them last time, but... It didn't work.
✦ Nova: Twenty-one. It all adds up. That must be the number... Let's give this one more shot. I was wrong before, but I simply can't be now-
✦ [Nova freezes, feeling a strange, slightly anger-inducing chill up his spine.]
✦ [He doesn't know why he feels this little bit of anger.]
✦ [Behind him, down the hall, he senses a figure. He feels that's the source of this emotion.]
✦ [Nova laughs quietly. Slowly turning his head towards the figure peeking around the corner.]
✦ Nova: I.
✦ Nova: Can.
✦ Nova: See.
✦ Nova: You.
✦ [Out of nowhere, the figure disappears, leaving nothing behind but a shimmer of stardust, glowing in the air.]

NYCTBA recover! Came out REALLY good given the fact I made this in the span of an afternoon, lol. I made my first take on NYCTBA a long time ago. It wasn't very good, especially not when compared to this one. I went in a VERY different direction with this take, to the point where it doesn't really fit the original vibe anymore, but who really cares?
