this song was inspired by an incredible one of a kind custom lifted 1986 Subaru GL Station-wagon with a custom built 1995 EJ22 racing swapped engine, gifted to me by a close friend from the old days in my time of need.
the car is a dream come true, and to him personally - thank you Lee.

This is a cover of a beautiful song i 1st saw performed on SNL and have loved it ever since. The words speak to me in ways that make feel blessed to have a wonderful woman by my side who is supportive of my long nights in the music studio. This cover is dedicated to her <3

sometime the mental health of your closest friends is more important that the tiring grind of life, and far too often we learn how to have properly been there for them long after they're gone...

this song is one from the archives from about 3 or 4 years ago - like so many hundreds of others of mine over the decades, it struck a nerve before it broke free, so it was archived rather than released.
maybe someday I'll be able to release it all while I'm still here, who knows.
