TV (Demo)

This is my favourite track from the first album (and as yet, only album) I've made. Put together whilst I was at Leeds College of Music. I wrote the track round about the time of the 7/7 bombings in London and there was a speight of interviews on TV featuring Islamic fundamentalists wanting to set up an <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caliphate">Islamic Caliphate</a>  in the UK. This was against a backdrop of George Bushes "War On Terror". Like many people, I felt trapped between these stupid world views, both of which rely on fear (of God, or of "Terror") and was getting pretty pissed off about it. For the first time I stopped being an absolute pacifist and acknowledged that there are certain things I really am willing to fight for - so this was a statement about it all...
