Mancunian duo AnD rose to prominence in 2011 following a slew of ground breaking releases characterised by their refurbished, stripped back and Dave Clarke-inspired brandof techno. True vinyl purists, the two maintain fierce analogue production principals and showcase this in their heavy hitting live show.

AnD’s modernistic approach has been endorsed by trailblazing UK imprints Project Squared and Idle Hands, whilst their purist ideologies have been employed by the visionary Horizontal Ground, Black Sun Records, Electric Deluxe Repitch and many more. Meanwhile covert productions on their own self-titled white label series has seen the pair embrace the shadowy outskirts of techno, furthered by a collaboration with Headless Horseman, Sunil Sharpe and D.Carbone for the clandestine Brothers imprint.

Together with Tom Dicicco, the three artists established Inner Surface Music back in 2011,which has already garnered support from the likes of Regis, Surgeon, Lucy, Norman Nodge, DVS1 and many more.

March's podcast is mixed by the France based DJ & producer: Hadone (@hadonesector).

Hadone is one of the most interesting new artists in techno, making his way up in quick ascent. Recently he’s been added to the Possession (@intothevalley) family as a resident alongside heavy hitting releases on esteemed labels such as Monnom Black (@monnom-black) and KAOS (@hectoroaks). He’s already set several clubs across the globe alight in the last few months not only as Hadone but also alongside Shlømo (@shl-mo) with their Vipa Diva project.

90s Techno remains his main influence, to which he adds his own touch that we all know. This combination gives us a simple and melancholic result that defines his musical identity, creating his own unique style.

Acierate. [ˈæsɪəˌreɪt]. Verb (transitive). To convert (iron) into steel. That is at least what the Oxford English Dictionary might tell you if you searched for the meaning of this word. 
If you’d ask any raver from European Techno hotspots nowadays, like Berlin, Paris, Tbilisi or Barcelona, who haven’t been hiding under rocks for the past few years, they might give you a different definition. 

They might tell you a story. A story about a DJ they can’t forget. A DJ who provided them with sonic experiences in a class of their own. Drivy, aggressive synth leads, encased by hammering industrial tunes. Music, so energetic, so undeniably going forward that it almost hurts not dancing to it. Because that’s what Berlin born and bred Acierate is serving his audiences. 

The founder of SYNOID and resident of Berlin’s infamous Griessmuehle has an indisputable reputation for unapologetic DJ sets driven by an unquenchable thirst for rave. Not in the sense of bluntly sequencing matching records, but in building up musical narrations. Telling stories not with words but with synth lines, high hats, snares, and a hell of a lot of bass drum. Converting sonic energy into physical movement

Tham is an up-and-coming artist from Berlin, where he’s also one half behind the infamous SYNOID series and resident at Griessmuehle.

As he discovered his love for electronic music on the city’s dancefloors, his style of DJing is all about the dancefloor: creating an energetic flow using industrial tunes and aggressive synth sounds.

The same goes for his productions, which made him part of the rising techno label “Lebendig”.
