Survivor of London bands Prolix and Running With Scissors, The Hot Floor is Blake Harrop's solo project that began in a bedroom studio in Seoul. Korean apartments have underfloor heating, which led to thermogenic recording sessions and the name of the project. Inspiration taken from punk, hip-hop, guitars, and the journey: from Seoul > NY > Tokyo > Amsterdam.
