RIVALS EP (Free Download)

The EP explores the inner world of someone living in today's society, with a subtle approach to the possible dystopian outcomes of the future.

1. White Lies
Living in a city where all of us are both prisoner and warden.
Too occupied with thoughts of fear and uncertainty toward our fellow humans, we have strayed from the path of co-existence and become inclined toward mere co-survival.

2. Imposter Syndrome
The harshest opponent, is our own inner self-judgmental voice.

"You don't deserve this"
"You're not meeting your potential"
"There are far more talented people out there than you"

A toxic relationship with our inner drive, both the enabler and the punisher.
Victory against it is mandatory, if you want to reach for what you truly are.

3. Manticore
The beast, the source of everyone’s dark side.
There is no light without shadow, but it is the light’s responsibility to conquer and contain its shadows.

4. Eye Can See - The Truth: the unstoppable strength without force. It exists; therefore, it is enough. You only need to accept what is, with nobility.

About "Platform 97" huh? 

This track has a huge symbolic reference and value for me. My interest in electronic music started in 1997, when my older brother showed me "The Fat of the Land" by The Prodigy. 
So yeah, the number 97 isn't just a coincidence.

26 years later and their sound still lives in me, but i had to give it a modern and personal spin. 

Basses made from scratch and drums carefully selected to accenuate the oldschool feeling, my only goal here was to make something enjoyable first and foremost to me, and of course to anyone that was kind enough to gift me their time by listening to it and trusting me with decorating it.
