Hendrik van Boetzelaer is my guest in Episode 27. The swiss based artist is also formerly known as Opuswerk. He is known for his passion for warm and forward thinking music for the body regardless of the genre. 

 His style is always forward thinking and finds adventurous ways of transporting the dancers beyond the boundaries of the club all the while challenging them. His musical consistency, brings him to play, in the best clubs and festivals from Concrete to Tresor or Mute, CTM Festival and Montreux Jazz or Paleo.

 In the first hour I recorded a mix for you with new material from the likes of VC-118A, Sterac, DJ Nobu, Dino Sabatini and more.

C'est est un duo Techno Parisien formé par Cyril et Jérémy, respectivement Dj et producteurs depuis
la fin des années 90.
Depuis 2016, ils sont Dj résidents du collectif NEWTRACK.
Inspirés par de nombreux artistes de tout genre, dans leurs productions comme sur scène, ils aiment
faire voyager leur auditoire entre sonorités industrielles, rythmes efficaces et mélodies hypnotiques.
Admirés pour leurs Dj set et Live Act pleins d’énergies, les Wlderz se sentent tout autant à l’aise derrière
les platines que derrière les machines.
Anciennement connus sous leur premier Alias, “The Wlderz”, après de nombreuses dates et sorties
entre 2012 et 2016, Cyril et Jérémy décident volontairement de ralentir leur cadence de travail.
Ils décident alors d’amorcer un changement de direction artistique, qui correspond aux émotions qu’ils
ressentent et veulent transmettre à travers leur musique.
Ce désir de nouveau départ, impliquera également l’évolution de leur alias de “The Wlderz” à “Wlderz”
Un beau mélange de Techno et d’Electronica, pleins d’émotions, d’énergie et de sentiments
authentiques, qu’ils transmettront à travers plusieurs EP entre 2017 et 2019 sur le label SKRYPTÖM.
Cette série d’EP sur le label SKRYPTÖM se conclura par la sortie de leur premier album
« SWIMMING IN A PLASTIC OCEAN », qui recevra un bel accueil de la part du public mais également des
acteurs et médias de la scène internationale.
Depuis, les Wlderz sortent régulièrement des EP et REMIXES à l’international sur des labels comme :
JAM , MATERIA, NEW RHYTHMICS ou encore NOIR Music.
En 2021, Les Wlderz travaillent sur leur 2ème album, qui devrait sortir en fin d’année sur le label Skryptöm.
Vivement 2022 et 2023 pour de nouvelles aventures signées WLDERZ...

Jon Hester got his start in the midwest US, living in Chicago, Minneapolis, and connecting with Detroit. His intuition as a DJ taps his experience as a classically-trained musician and self-taught dancer. After years on the dance floor, he took to the decks in the late nineties, going on to work in record shops, manage his own events, and hold residencies that developed his sound. Now based in Berlin as A&R for EDEC, he continues to sharpen his skills as a producer.

Drawing inspiration from both sides of the decks, his DJ sets are built on physical rhythms and adventurous programming, effortlessly combining diverse varieties of techno and house. With an engaging presence and a knack for telling a story, he builds a unique connection with each audience, and works any room until it sweats.

Vince Watson - Detroit Classics Part 2

Techno music always was a substance, made of contrasts - it was born in Motor City, befriended man and machine, combined live emotions and technical precision. These features should be the best to describe music from young Russian producer Aleks Unbalance.  Born in Siberia, Unbalance debuted in 2008 and it took a few years to create his own unique style. In his music you can find distinct symbiosis of strong emotions and industrial themes, which is eclectic and conjoins with technically accurate treatment in music story making.  In a series of records, released on the same name record label, Unbalance could realize his ideas fully - this fresh sound was a bombshell and it was demonstrated with his live performance in Berghain club, world’s techno Mecca, only a year and series of gigs in another legendary club Tresor.  When got support of techno scene old stagers, Unbalance proceed to develop his ideas, expanding a verges of techno and collaborating with a lot of significant artists in Rebalance project. In the artist's achievment list vinyl releases on such labels as A.R.T.S., PoleGroup, Rawax, Solid Groove, participation in the legendary Fabric compilation from Steffi, etc. At the moment, Aleks is a resident and one of the ideologists of the techno-association Monasterio.  In his performances Unbalance endeavors to combine a whole techno ages, gives his due to classic techno, gets inspiration in futuristic sound and mixing it with a modern techno wave, which is what he is. His style of performing is so close to his own works and it creates unique atmosphere on a dance floor, no matter is it private party or big rave in Berlin Berghain.

With almost 20 years experience on his back as a DJ and a promoter Dtekk stands out, to put it mildly. Up To Date Festival, Salon Ambientu, Secret Location events in Poland – Jędrzej Dondziło curates all of these while touring extensively around Poland and neighbouring counties. Flash of lightning rips the darkness up above and for a split second everything illuminates in silence and serenity. For that brief moment a silhouette appears, wet, worn down and at a glance standing still. The moment passes, the thunder brings back the wave of pitch black storm. Another flash. Another moment of silence. Although the silhouette looks different. The loop continuous again and again before the wild howl and realisation comes – unknown dancer meditates in the rhythm.

Revelation Of Sound is pleased to present ALPI. Geek and creativity merged together to give birth to this new project. Italy based vinyl lovers/collectors and machines addicted they started their collaboration in the beginning of 2014 trying to create their own sound. They already played together alongside Markus Suckut, Regal, Kobosil, Boston 168, Wrong Assessment and many others. Following excellent releases for Arnaud Le Texier's Children of Tomorrow and the legendary Dutch imprint Planet Rhythm gaining huge supports by the likes of ACR, Tommy Four Seven, Svreca, Amotik and many others, their latest releases are out on vinyl via Voight, Southern Lights and Planet Rhythm alongside artists like Matrixmannn & Echologist, Wrong Assessment and Yan Cook.
