Founded in 2016 by Berklee College of Music grad Brett Vaughn, The Mindful is an experimental rock project that covers a broad sonic spectrum featuring virtuosic musicianship and imaginative songwriting. Joined by Dom Salazar-Turner on bass and Alan Gamboa on drums, singer/guitarist Vaughn's psychedelic, progressive rock and jazz and jazz-fusion influences coalesce into a live experience that leaves audiences awed.

The Mindful's full length debut, Full Blown Gallery (released July 2019), is an eclectic album with five longform songs ranging in moods from funk, jazz, Americana and rock. The album showcases The Mindful's ability to write memorable songs, craft dynamic textures, and lead listeners through unexpected twists and turns.
