Bryce Martini plays his Udu Voodu for Holy Hoodoo, Sonny Blood guitar became a jaw harp!  This is a raw file/ demo, so it sounds a bit spare but a more polished version is on the way soon.

FULL DISCLOSURE!
1. I am NOT Chris Cornell. (Attn Yotube algorithm; I'm really not, despite you thinking this is the official remastered version!). There's a reason Chris was known in the music business as "The Voice", and it wasn't because he was addicted to the TV show.
2. Soundgarden's version is 202bpm. When I recorded the drums I set a click track for half of that, and then decided to slow it down and get a bit heavier at 96bpm.....and when recording I slowed it down another 10bpm for the first half of the song because Matt Cameron is a BEAST!! But I played everything after the breakdown at the regular tempo, which (for a non-drummer) was surprisingly easy, and I realised Matt plays a lot of single kick drums as passing notes, which made things a bit easier too!

The world lost an amazing songwriter, and even more amazing vocalist when Chris Cornell decided to leave us. His work in Soundgarden, Audioslave and his solo endeavors was always of a very high standard. And he was someone who grew into themselves as he got older. So the news that he'd taken his own life suddenly was a complete shock to everyone who liked him and his music, and so sad.

He left some amazing compositions behind him, and this is probably my favourite. I'd been thinking about doing it for some time, but bottled it the first time round. And then when speaking to some friends a few weeks ago about this song I thought, "Why am I fearful of trying it? If it doesn't work I'll delete it anyway!". So I did the music, which turned out really good, and then I decided I would take the McCartney "Oh Darling" approach to the vocals; I would try it once a day, and if I wasn't happy I'd bin it and try again the next day. But the first time I tried it I thought "that's got a vibe about it, I'll probably lose that if I keep going and going and labouring at it" (plus given the voice volume level needed, I had about an hour to do it before everyone got back from shopping!), so I kept the first go and stuck with that. I'm no Chris Cornell, that guy had a voice I would kill for, but I gave it my best!
