In 2014, Erik Jarvis released his one of a kind, NuFolk album, "Eavesdrop & Elevate." With the help of Kelly Marie Musselman--Who can be heard on the EP reading the original poems that spawned the album--and countless musicians from around the Midwest and beyond, they pieced together a sonic quilt that both fulfills one's story-telling side and one's desire to boogy. On a cold Grinnell morning in early 2016, Erik so graciously green lighted me for a remix EP. And thus, here we are. In these tracks, I placed a great emphasis on using field recordings and sticking to experimentation. I am truly happy with this work and am honored to have been able to work with such great musicians.
