I've been listening to Red House Painters lately, so I wrote this song in about half an hour. I thought I'd share the very rough demo, let me know what you think of the song structurally, vocals could be better I suppose. Should I work on a full band version?

Trapped In Our Cell [SOLO DEMO, VERY ROUGH]

I woke up after 2 weeks sleep, I’ve been living in a cemetery, feel like I’ve been awake for centuries.
I’d look over the ocean and I’d see her face, another one who’s been up for days
She looks at me and sighs, she sees a broken man I realize now how much she's not like the others, cold and distant, and many people are like that, for sure
I was handcuffed and bound to room and we’re both looking through the screen, she always hated me platonically. I couldn’t disagree.
Going down to the American embassy   Now I see this clearly. My whole life was pointed in one direction. There never has been a choice for me.
But now I’m not so sure.
