Thanks to Will Sanders for asking me to do this collaboration with him. You kinda get to know people on here because they comment on your music or visa versa and Sanders has been around SoundCloud for a bit and I was hononerd when he asked me to sing on Through the Fire. I lost my beautiful Mother 2 months ago and with that comes hard nights, no sleep with long prayers. Will wrote this song and at the end let me have some ad-libbing freedom and its very reminicent of those nights of prayer straight from the heart. I almost didnt do it just because Im still in my grief, but I decided it'd be good to get back to it, and Im very thankful that I did.  It's been very threapeutic and since then I've been sleeping like a baby, so praise the Lord for that.. Anyway he did a great job and I wanted to share it with you all. Remember Christ is walking with you throught the fire. Blessings, Molly

I found a demo of this song from 2018 - just a run through for The Peace Band really - recorded on my Tascam DR-05. It was just me on acoustic guitar and vocals with help from Peace Band members Katie Gill on piano and Izzy Pereira on Cajón. I loaded up the recording into Cubase and recorded a new double tracked lead vocal over the top. I then added some backing vocals, electric guitar, bass and strings. There's an ocarina track in there as well. Katie's piano has got a bit lost in the mix unfortunately. I was originally going to record this song from scratch until I came across the demo.
