In this month’s episode the host, ROLAND HANDRICK’s guest is peter helecz from Hungary, who is bringing you his brand new mix, titled Sinapsis.

The radio show’s called Atmospherica Exotica aimed to present another side of techno through my own and guest mixes, focusing on more atmospheric and sophisticated trends. My first Ozorian experience had a great influence on me, both musically and atmopsherically, this is why I started diving deeper into the soundscapes I heard there and which inspired this show.

I was born in 1983,and i started listen to music in my early years…I heard techno music for the first time at the age of 10 in Germany.My mother is german,and in the 90’s we were travelling 3 times a year her family, that’s why i was able to hear techno music so early.Listening to Chris Liebing’s and Anja Schneider’s radio shows was a good starting point of my musical journey.I was able to hear all kind of electronic music,techno,house,drum’n”bass etc,so i was developing my “musical” self vey soon.Collecting dj mixes,compilations and also tracks in any style of music was a straight way to start my dj and music career.So in 2000 i start to collect vinyls,buy turntables,a mixer and learn mixing it together.In the first 3-4 years i was playing in my hometown in little pub’s and clubs,then we start to organize own partys with a friend,so we were able to book some of the top techno and house djs,and i could warming up for all these artists.In 2004 had an invitation from Zvezda Beta to play at Ablak A Dubra in Budapest and one year later to team up the Hairy Crew.From here on i played most of Budapest’s and other big city’s music clubs,and played along side the “best” hungarian techno-house dj’s,and years later also with international artists also.Constant performer of the biggest festival’s in Hungary and have an own residency with my old mate and dj colleague Roocha at Aether Club in Budapest.Im very proud that from 2014 joining Ozora festival as an artist too.

We’re back with our 6th instalment of our Savage Sessions podcast series, and this time we have Melbourne local, Toufie. Being a resident of the well-known ‘Progression Sessions’ as well as running his own event, ‘End of Now’ - Toufie is absolutely no stranger to the scene. 

In this mix, Toufie has provided us with what one can label a ‘journey’, but the reality being a twisted, warped vortex that spirals down into the deep depths of Techno. 

Beginning with hypnotic and atmospheric sounds, Toufie warms you into a comfortable state where he takes complete control - this is just the beginning. He then takes no prisoners, as the tempo increases as well as the severity of the music, laying down dark, pummelling Techno; which ends with a soft and soulful landing. 

We hope this mix keeps you as entertained as it did us in isolation; and we hope all of you are doing well.

Realizing the essence of nature is subtlety in a minimal form forever changing like water . . . The continuous stream of impressions and feelings coming together in one dimension. Not where but when, all in an ever changing journey of time music flows . . . through music, Masternark 2 always wants to deliver a sincere journey evoking reflection upon ourselves and the world we are a part of. Always playing progressive tunes that often includes minimal hypnotic beats with a deep bassline, he enjoys both uptempo and downtempo traveling. Always in search of those vibes taking you to distant lands and off this globe. Currently Masternark 2 is spinning records in his Stockholm suburb Brick City and its surroundings.
