The Platitudes are from Leeds and formed 2 years ago (ish). In 2012 they embarked on their first UK tour, playing one show, in the village of Buxton Derbyshire. They pushed new boundaries in 2013 by playing at the soon to be famous, Crigglestone Festival in Wakefield. The Platitudes recently spent 30 minutes in the studio recording their new EP "It is What It Is", which will be released soon on Facebook. In 2014 the band hope to get all their members to a practice at the same time and keep alive the spirit of early 90's ska punk music for another year.
