It was an honor to rock with Motown on Mondays LA and to help close out Women's History month last March! Here's my DJ set from MOM LA, at the Short Stop in Echo Park, recorded on March 31, 2025. 

I have to say that preparing for themed DJ sets is one of my favorite things to do, and paying homage to a juggernaut of a label like Motown is a tremendous honor. 

In this mix, my Motown selections span from the 60s to mid 80s, and include remixes, a few sample routines, and more fun stuff, including a few Motown adjacent joints. I really enjoyed the process of researching, learning, and programming accordingly (shoutout to the Standing in the Shadows doc and bass transcription book), but it was also super fun playing my interpretation of the classics for a lively post-game Short Stop crowd and the many awesome MOM LA regulars. Big ups to the MOM LA crew for having me and for maintaining one of the most unique and vibrant parties in LA and (worldwide!) 

Note that this set does contain some ambient crowd noise (so you get an idea of the vibe), and mic work from the amazing DJ Jedi. Also, this set is NSFW, for my workin and lurkin crowd.
