Any experienced music author will confirm that writing the perfect pop song is the hardest thing. However, there are composers that seem to be able to deliver hit songs so effortlessly, it almost makes us all want to have a go at it. Swedish songwriter Magnus Stenbacken is a member of that rare breed of songwriters who is capable of producing songs that are catchy, memorable, but stay safely far from one-hit wonder territory and have tons of street cred. And that is exactly what puts them in the category both fans and music journalists are lusting about - brilliant pop music!

ABOUT THE RELEASE

After shaking the advertising world with the material released under his Pebble’s alias, Swedish super-producer Magnus Stenbacken has teamed with singer Victor Bryngnas and returns with a completely different project called Stranger Days. Energetic rock has been changed with electronica and the band members appear on the cover as retro, Frank Miller style, comic book superheroes. The first single Came Alive is a successful exercise in 80s influenced synth-wave, updated to match the current production standards of S U R V I V E, Mark Pritchard and the likes. The cryptic lyrics only add to the impression that this song could be the intro to an ambitious full-length album project, crossing the borders between music, graphic art and animation.
