Nice job! I wish it had been noted that you do not need to 'carry 2 extra pulleys to et up a 5-to-one system" when one pulley or even just a carabiner can net you a 6-to-one.  Using a Micro Traction has hidden risks in an alpine environment as well--any kind of toothed cam can and does clog quickly with snow and ice and then your capture device suddenly no longer functions.  A prussik is simple, light, and adjusts for icing conditions quickly.  I'd also like to hear a piece about how not to rope up on glaciers as I've seen many who have turned the rope into a mutual suicide pact due to ignorance of what they are actually doing in my 40 years of guiding.

Got home after working that Graveyard grind, Music on my mind. Thought I’d try a little something different and attempt to play some down tempo, possibly chill jams. 
I learn a lot from listening to myself mix, so figured I'd record since the Denon Prime go makes its insanely easy.
 Anyway, forgot what my goal was about half way through..(chill vibes!!) 
 I tried to reign myself in with some classic Layo & Bushwacka, but was having too. much. FUN! 
Definitely Not looking for perfection just getting some much loved and needed practice in, 
Started around 119 BPM ended at 128 BPM (cause 128 =Magic)

Blake Bowling aimed to redpoint 1,500 routes in Kentucky's Red River Gorge. The Madness, a 5.13 route at the Motherlode, would be number 1,499. When a friend came by his camper van and asked if Blake wanted to climb, he grabbed the rope he'd already used many times before while rehearsing the moves on the Madness. This time, however, using that rope would be a near-fatal mistake. 

Sharp End host Ashley Saupe interviewed Blake about his accident and the very simple steps he could have taken to prevent it. Blake and his belayer had 52 years of combined rock climbing experience, proving that experience is no guard against serious accidents.

Eric Hengesbaugh had planned an expedition into the Palisades section of the High Sierra, with support from an AAC Live Your Dream grant. But a fall during his very first climb left him with a broken ankle and back injury, hundreds of feet above the ground. Amazingly, Eric captured the entire incident on a portable recorder. Afterward, he crafted a moving podcast telling the story of the accident and the people who rescued him.
