The El Mariachi Roadshow discovered a gem in the form of a harmonica toting good ole' boy from Atlanta, Georgia at a Canada Day show in 2012.  Jimmy D. Wiley's harp skills delighted crowds during an impromptu Canada Day performance at Fat Boys Southern Grillhouse.  A legend was born.  This Bob Dylan song has been covered by Matt Andersen, Old Crow Medicine Show, and most recently on the country charts by Darius Rucker.  

Wagon Wheel (Feat. Danny Wiley)

The Valley Shantyman is a singer-songwriter hailing from the St. Lawrence and Ottawa Valley.  Drawing on musical influences from Sam Cooke, Bob Marley, Willie Nelson, John Lennon, Chris Cornell, Roy Orbison, and Jim Cuddy, The Valley Shantyman cut his musical-teeth while backpacking along the Pacific Coast in California.  This epic journey has evolved into the "El Mariachi Roadshow" after a chance meeting with Willie Nelson in 2009.  Nelson's message inspired the self-taught rebelrouser to live in the songs that he performs.  

After being noticed for his unique ability to inspire people to get up and dance in the Irish pubs of Ottawa, Ontario, The Valley Shantyman was kidnapped by the rafting guide community at Wilderness Tours Resort and quickly became their dishonorable resident musician.  The remote riverbanks of the Ottawa River, St. Lawrence River, the sandy beaches of the Great Lakes and piers of the Atlantic Ocean have not had a moment of quiet since.  

The Valley Shantyman's smooth lyrical delivery and unique acoustic rhythms draw unintentional attention to his live shows.  One would be hardpressed to resist singing at the top of their lungs to the humorous and consciousness raising musical stylings of this song writing sensation.
