The Wiyos (pronounced Why-os) began as a street band in NY City and New Orleans circa 2001. Founding member Michael Farkas and colleagues Teddy Weber & Seth Travins have been the core trio since 2009. They have toured extensively throughout the US and UK for nearly 15 years. Their animated live shows have been featured in multiple BBC television programs and landed them as the opening act for a 28-day tour with Bob Dylan. Their original music has been used in indie movies, television series and live multi-media productions. Their 2012 release, Twist garnered 'Best Concept' album from the Independent Music Awards. 

Michael Farkas resides in the Hudson Valley, NY, Teddy Weber in Roxbury, VT, and Seth Travins in Shetland, Scotland. Currently on a break from live performance, the trio continues to produce new content for sync licensing.
