This Full Demo has taken the loose jams of the Sonic Plan version and re-arranged them into a musically cohesive and credible yet psychedelic surf-punk-rock vehicle for the lyrics. The lyrics have been around for many years awaiting their song. 
We all know what this is about...
Like all the songs with the ambiguous "know what I mean? ;-)" lines in them.

The full demo now reveals the vision for the song.
I like the slightly druggy indie rock feel with a touch of prog in the mood shifts. The lyrics carry the central theme of this phase as you might expect from the title.
Theme: the polarisation of culture and ideas between the enslaved conformist consumer and the free-thinking and free individual.

This is the first part of the three part suite. It's ballady and lyrically reflects the visions and musings of someone going through a revelatory process.

9 - Promise - Part I (Made) (Sonic Plan Demo)

This catchy little number is just a guitar and drums sketch at the moment although the bass line is already under development for the full demo. 
It is intended to be something of a lovesong in two parts. This is the first part (Promise Made). Part II (Promise Kept) will feature in the 3rd phase of the album - Apocalypse.

Alternative sounding guitar rock number with heady mesmeriff, swirling and circling until fragmenting into alt-prog anti-guitar fest with rhythmic and counter-rhythmic surprises.
I.e. it rocks

4 - Naturetruth - Part III (Self-Discovery)  (Sonic Plan Demo)

This is the third and final part of the three part Naturetruth suite. It's mesmerising prog-punk bass loops repeat in Cage-esque fashion to give the illusion of explosive percussion; fitting for the "Apocalyptic" finale. 
Its armageddon - its environmental cataclysm - its the ultimate battle of GvE.

The full demo will have additional drums and other things - probably samples and sound effects to create a more complete apocalyptic soundscape.
It recapitulates themes from Parts I & II.

6 - Last Without (You) (Sonic Plan Demo)

A guitar rock piece which attempts to convey the anguish and tension of the search for lost ones.
There is variation on the monster riff; from straight to syncopated. The drums are currently sparing - just to guide the track and only in the second section.
More layers and treatments will follow.

7 - Promise - Part II (Kept) (Sonic Plan Demo)

Part 2 of the catchy apocalypse love song. Post-apocalypse, the promise is kept. 
The intention is that Part 1 (Made) in the 2nd or Polarisation phase of the album will be electric/electronic and this largely similar piece will be arranged more semi-acoustically.
