problem that leads you to the solution. It is never easy to start a journey, there are many things
resisting the path, but if the goal is strongly desired, then you will find a strength will that will take
you to the finish line. Arrethos is this force.

Vampire is a track that best reflects the mood of THE ABSYNTHE. It is about the futile world that
consumes the man and makes him its slave. It is an anxious, dark, deep sound; a collection of
sounds that express the anxieties of the modern man, uncomfortable because of struggles that
could place him in a great emotional crisis, up to the existential. It is music about dangerous
invisible meanings, the money, the uncomfortableness in front of society, solitude untold, and all
those thoughts that slowly steal vital energy as a vampire, making man a puppet in the hands of
the world; someone who must do what they’re told without opposition.

Anana gets back to my roots a little bit. I have two sides really, laid-back, southwest guitar, or ambient, bass-heavy, Hip Hop. 

I've been told most of my music sounds like it belongs at the end of a movie. I used to get offended by that, but I've grown to love and accept it. We all have our niche. 

I really hope you enjoy this one. It's very bass driven and hypnotic. This is something that I would listen to if I heard it on a playlist, and I hope you feel the same.

Through their music, club disciples The Absynthe offer an accessible form of space exploration.
This duowind-blown ambience that never quite lifts off, it dilutes the strength of an otherwise alluring song.
'Ramdomness' is all circular drumming loping towards the titular zenith, its unhurried, repetitive rhythms loosening limbs before a keening synth curls through the mix like a snake being charmed.
Danja Oush's shamanic remix of the track' opens with warped arpeggios and bursts into a motoring hoedown of a bassline that conjures the abstract vibe of the EP's cover. The Blackjungle touch completes the percussive triad, its woody percussion and atmosphere faint layered with distorted reverb that acts as a sonic smoke machine, hypnotic and dissociative.
The tracks fit together as comfortably as MadMatLoveJuno and Danny Lo Scippo themselves, suggesting the kind of easy chemistry that requires little effort to reap rewards.

passion for synthesizers, they distill the hallucinatory ways of Cosmic Disco and create
their very own mind-bending spirit. In long jam sessions, they experiment with
psychedelic pads, acid infused basslines, and gritty leads on pumping drum machines.
Far away voices call you from an unknown planet to join this hallucinatory downbeat
ride. If van Gogh cut his ear on Absinthe, this duo will make you wanna grow a third
one.

THE ABSYNTHE essential [ITA]

The Absynthe non ha un punto di partenza nel vero senso del termine: Daniele Zonca (Danny Lo Scippo) e Matteo Basso (MadMat LovesJuno), amici da anni, sono musicisti dalle provenienze musicali varie, ma con in comune la passione per i sintetizzatori; si sono incontrati e con loro le loro musiche, le loro idee e i loro strumenti hanno dato vita fin da subito a jam session e sperimentazioni. Ne è uscito fuori, col passare degli anni, un bpm generalmente basso, solido e concreto, una miscela lisergica e psichedelica di ritmi incessanti, arpeggiati, melodici, fuorvianti e melodie spaziali; ambienti di riverberi glaciali, pads caldi e sotterranei, linee di basso che non smettono mai di girare e voci che parlano di cose sconosciute ai più.
Sono dei veri e propri viaggi in terre immaginarie, in posti che ognuno può ritrovare dentro sé quando ascolta THE ABSYNTHE, seduto tranquillo nella sua poltrona in penombra, magari con un buon assenzio da sorseggiare in tutta solitudine.

The Absynthe doesn't have a starting point in the way we usually mean it: Daniele Zonca and Matteo Basso, friends from years, are two musicians coming from various musical backgrounds who share a passion for synthesizers; they met and with them, their music, their ideas and their instruments gave life immediately to jam sessions and experimentation.
The result is, over the years, a generally low, solid and concrete bpm, a mixture of LSD and psychedelic incessant rhythms, arpeggios, melodic, misleading and spatial melodies; reverberations of glacial environments, hot and underground pads, bass lines that never cease to turn and voices that speak of things unknown to most of us.
The songs are real journeys to imaginary lands, to places that everyone can find deep inside himself when listening to THE ABSYNTHE, sitting quietly in his armchair in the shadows, perhaps with a good absinthe to sip throughout solitude.
