Anthony Godin aka THe WHite SHadow (FR) is a French producer who is releasing quality music on great labels as Suara, Katermukke, Einmusika and Chapter 24. On the debut release of Nagual Research label he combines beautiful melodic soundscapes with strong beats for the dance floor! The two original tracks 'Alone' and 'Last Of Us' are inviting us to a transcendental trip and soothe the body & soul.

The young and talented Greek duo Dizharmonia from Steyoyoke fame share an enchanting and dark vision of 'Last Of Us'. The give their remix their own signature sound with aggressive basslines and wicked synths!

To close this first. Nagual Research welcomes on board Third Son who you must know from releases on Parquet, Selador, Noir Music, Einmusika, 303Lovers, Sincopat, Stil Vor Talent and many other quality labels. He offers us a psychedelic and mental edit of 'Last Of Us'.

Various Artists - Broken Pomises Part 3

Milan based collective Just This return with two VA releases to continue their ‘Broken Promises’ series. With the aim of documenting the progression of cultural movements, the label have pursued underground material since 2010. Broken Promises Part 3 and Part 4 are due for release on 1st December and 8th December respectively, and each feature four new tracks channelling refined techno with minimalist, ambient sentiments.
Hunter/Game open Part 3 with ‘Distance’, a meditative journey through ambient textures using expansive synths and vast acoustics. Next, Architectural brandishes 808 drums for a tense workout on ‘Electric Soul’. On the B-side, label co-owner Pisetzky explores the darker side of minimal on ‘Anterial’, whilst Altman plays with moody bass and ricocheting percussion on ‘Shapes’.
Part 4 opens with a shuffling rhythmic framework on Inland’s ‘Aechmea’, followed by ‘Zona’, a pointillist groove by Ben Gibson, aka one half of the collaborative project Dyad. On My Flower’s ‘Kundal’, a cyclical melody wanders through eerie acoustics whilst Hiver navigates a broken beat framework with glitchy distortions and dub echoes on ‘Stellar Parallax Landing’.

Pisetzky – Anterial

Simply an iconic release resulted from a project that brought together like-minded artists, history and lots of respect for people who created legacies many decades ago. This release tells a unique part of music history that people don’t know about yet.
After becoming friends with the ‘secret Disco Hero' Wayne Scott, the mastermind behind this project Tim Taylor, had the brilliant idea of making a record together with him, talking about parts of his DJ life and times back then telling his true story and experiences. Wayne who had a very singular career path and many interesting stories, borrowed his distinct voice bringing nice character to the project.
Wayne Scott was one of the original pioneer DJ’s from New York Disco heydays of the 70’s. He became resident of Studio 54 in 1977 and also played at the famous Flamingo, where he was recognized for mixing this type of music they called 'Sleaze' or 'Morning music'. These tracks with a more emotional style were played later in the night to give the crowd a more relaxed finale.
Sleaze then became very popular throughout the underground gay Disco clubs in New York, but Wayne had this special ability that other did not have at that time. Playing songs that nobody else played and always in a different way, he was the one who played the style better than anybody and was given the nickname 'The King Of Sleaze'.
The original track has participation of Brazilian artist Belt and brings a unique energy to the dancefloor. The rhythmic construction associated with the vocal gives impulse the sonorities that complete the music. Tessuto remix brings a new look to the vocals beyond the classic beats of Roland 909 and synths that stroll in the history of music. L_cio brings a more serious version, highlighting the work of synths and subs. MEMNTGN_007: “the history to clubs and parties”.

The path between point A and point B is not always an exciting one, but as we get to know Ania Iwinska, better known to the electronic music world as Anii, chasing what moves you and not being afraid to trek the world outside your comfort zone make for a dynamic, maybe bumpy, possibly breathtaking, ride. Shortly after landing a much-coveted spot on Kompakt label’s Total 18 Compilation, and right before the release of her highly-anticipated return on Polymath, the Point Blank alum sits with Torture the Artist in full composure and talks about the past, present, and future, and how she manages to keep her momentum in the ever-changing currents of the music scene. In a world with very little room for error, Anii challenges the concept of ‘wrong’, and by staying true to her roots, and following her intuition - her fears and desire - establishes an artistic aura, style and equilibrium that seem to be able to stand the test of time. Catch Torture the Artist attempt to let the Polish-born Londoner take some heat, and watch her graceful execution, from tackling some hard questions with no sweat to waltzing her way out into the other side of ‘Fear’ by way of smooth strings cosseted in a labyrinth of synergetic percussions: the exclusive premiere of ‘Desire.’

Sincopat welcomes back the exquisite and forward-thinking style of HearThuG. The Tunisian talent gives one more step into his unique sound presenting three original tracks forming this 'Acid Tears EP' which includes also a remix of the great and colourful Berliner Bebetta.
HearThuG music has reached a high level in the last months and this EP proves that constant evolution. 'Crossroads' is a super organic composition whose synths are bubbling along layers of different patterns. Working on this extraordinaire leitmotiv, Bebetta does her best introducing new percussion and an evolving bass to the menu. Dancefloor madness is confirmed with this version of the German artist with the touch she gives to the breakdown. 'Smiling Despair' is probably the most conceptual track of the EP but on the other hand it will have also a huge response in the clubs. Last but not least, 'Acid Tears' is offering a beautiful symphony over a hypnotic and strong rhythm. HearThuG's journey keeps its path and it sure will last.
