Viclan https://soundcloud.com/siege_underground is a project from Calvin Whittaker, previously releasing under the aliases Siege and CWS. 

He has released his own productions on the legendary R&S Records label as well as Lowering The Tone and an album coming out on MORD in the near future.

When I first listened to Viclan's mix for the R&S label mix series, I was blown away by the quality of the mix, so am delighted that I can include him as a guest in the WM mix series.

Warehouse Manifesto presents: VICLAN In The Warehouse

This month's show for Electronic Convergence is a straight-up electro assault, hitting the ground running with a bomb from one of the best of all time, Carl Finlow, on one of the best electro compilations of all time, a recent release by Alien Communications called Astral Projections. Six tracks from the compilation feature in this mix with more tracks to following future mixes.

Special mentions to labels such as Abstract Rhythm and Electro Music Coalition that feature quite a bit and to all the artists and labels that keep bringing out such exceptional electro music.

Electronic Convergence Mix - October 2025

Artem, known as Grid User, is a Ukrainian producer and DJ originally from Khmelnitsky. His journey into electronic music began several years ago, leading him to study and produce his own tracks.

Inspired by the classics of electro and the work of German and American electro pioneers, Artem decided to release his first project on the Greek label Tiger Weeds. 
He has since self-released music on various Ukrainian and Western labels. Grid User is known for creating a unique sound that intertwines themes of transhumanism and digitalisation, exploring the connections between the future and the present, as well as the living and the synthetic. 

While Artem leans towards a modern interpretation of electro, the influence of old-school sounds is clearly evident in his work. His love for the 808 drum machine, dark synths, and vocoders is an integral part of his musical identity. 

Recently, Artem has also begun to actively DJ at various events and parties across Ukraine. Additionally, he founded Connectome Records, a powerful new label dedicated to releasing music that offers a fresh perspective on sound and serves as a tribute to dark electro.

Alavux's journey into music production began in the mid-'90s. Inspired with acid, techno and house, he had an early success on the national charts with the track"San". He became a heavy supporter of the then-nascent 3rd wave, fusing electro bass and funk.
