Yakudza is a project of the Georgian artist Jacob Surmanidze, started three years ago. His sets are oscillating around techno, acid, industrial, EBM and beyond. Jacob Surmanidze started producing music in 2014; in the following years he has also studied Creative Education at university and founded two labels: Hertz Record and Loading Code Record. Currently he actively works on 3 projects: Yakudza, Jacob Hertz and Khiedel, mostly DJing in Tbilisi. The city, as we all know, has a vibrant music scene with the infamous Bassiani club at its centre, but is not limited to it. Yakudza’s biggest plan for the future is to move across the borders of his own country and play live sets in all the leading venues, sharing his emotions through the  music he enjoys the most. He would also love to open a vinyl shop and share a carefully curated selection of various genres.
