UNFD is proud to sign Byron Bay five-piece metal-core band, In Hearts Wake who have become known as one of the hardest working unsigned acts in Australian hardcore. UNFD will release In Hearts Wake’s debut album, “Divination” on August 31, 2012.
 
Already a favorite amongst their peers and underground fans, the band has done a remarkable job of following in the footsteps of Byron Bay’s hardcore legends, Parkway Drive. They have spent the last few years releasing a slew of EPs and a split record with The Bride, whilst touring through regional and capital cities over the last few years. It is through their hard working ethic that the band became one of the most loved artists within the hardcore community, with band members also claiming to be big fans of what they do. “I’ve been aware of In Hearts Wake for a few years”, says UNFD A&R Luke Logemann. “But it wasn’t until other UNFD artists including Northlane, The Bride and Dream On Dreamer started talking them up constantly that I really started seeing what it is that everyone loves about this band. Their sound is just massive, and they finally have a record that matches what they do live.”
 
Their debut album,“Divination” was recorded in Michigan, USA by Josh Schroeder at Random Awesome Studio during the first half of 2012. The album features guest vocalists (names to be released soon) and will come with a Special DVD which features the ‘Divination Diaries’, the incredible film clip for their first single ‘TRAVELLER (The Fool)’, and an engaging behind the scenes look at ‘The Making Of’, which vocalist Jake Taylor wrote, directed and produced. “Divination” will be out on August 31 in Australia and New Zealand – right before the band’s national tour supporting label-mates, Dream On Dreamer.
